Dugo ng Panday!

Hi readers!! This day my blog post are one of the entries in MMFF. This film actually very famous because it is one of the outstanding film of “Da King” Fernando Poe Jr., Ang Panday. After the successful teleserye Ang Probinsyano, Coco Martin  returns this time in another popular icon produced under his film production CCM Film Productions together with Star Cinema and Viva Films.

In the movie, Coco plays the role of Flavio III, who was raised in the street with his family when dark forces led by Lizardo (Jake Cuenca) try to invade his human world, Flavio discovers that he is a descendant of the original ang panday. He sets to search and try to find the balaraw to protect the world.

Top 5 Reasons Why I like the Movie?

1. The settings, because the movie starts with a specific scenes which the place is very known that’s why they catch the attention of the audience literally. They chose the place of Tondo, Manila because it is accurate to the script and the Divisoria Mall to make the film realistic.
2. The characters, all the actors helps the movie to be realistic. They give there best shot to make their characters  blow out of the film. It is funny to know that some actors in the teleserye of Ang Probinsyano are here that’s why the feels and reaction to the film make the audience lighted.
3. The fliptoppers ( Smugglaz, Basilyo, Zaito and Shernan), this four people are famous in the industry of fliptop that’s why I felt amaze because they get the opportunities to be an actors because of these film.  But, if you watch the movie there are scenes that they do fliptop so, I salute this four people because even though they are in showbiz they never forget their loved and passion when it becomes to Fliptop.
4. The actor Jake Cuenca, the antagonist of the film. During the movie premiere, Jake said that there was a mixture of Jim Morrison and Heath Ledger’s Joker when he did the role of Lizardo (https://www.rappler.com/life-and-style/specials/mmff/191628-fun-facts-ang-panday-coco-martin-mmff-2017).  As I watched the movie, there is no tackle other than him in playing the role of villain. I really appreciate and being proud for Jake because as far as I know this role is very hard to play with but, he give his best and do what he can as an actor. Like the says, ” There’s no actors who can hit Jake Cuenca!” 
5. Last is the whole movie because even though this is a action-drama film they chose to have and had a scenes that every audience cannot forget.  They do comedy and romance as well. So, what are you waiting for? ready yourself and come to the nearest cinema to watch this film. Actually, until now I never forget the movie even every scenes they made.
